Mr. Scott, a native of McCormick County was a member of Hosannah Baptist Church, Modoc. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Bussey Scott; three sons, Torrence (Clarissa) Scott, Grovetown, Thomas Scott and Tyrone Scott, North Augusta; stepmother, Georgia C. Scott, Belvedere; five sisters, Fannie (Rev. Joseph) Hightower, Rosetta (Horace) Thompson, Mitchellville, Md., Minister Annie R. (Alex) Hammond, Trenton, Mildred Scott, Forest Hill, N.Y., and Martha Thompson, Hyattsville, Md.; four brothers, Tommie (Essie) Scott, James Scott, North Augusta, Roosevelt (Belinda) Scott, Augusta, and Walter R. (Beatrice) Scott, Trenton; brother-in-law, William Ellis, Fort Washington, Md.; mother and father-in-law, Ruth and Edward H. Bussey Sr., Edgefield; godmother, Dorothy (Doris) Houston, North Augusta; two grandchildren; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
